Working with Astral Media as the exclusive content production house for Forced Perspective Content, a.k.a 3D Anamorphic Illusion advertising. We have produced eye-catching 3D animated advertisements using a sweet spot to give the illusion that certain products or elements are popping out of the screen. These unique commercials have been created for BMW, Amazon’s Audibles , Campbells, Burt Bees, Cirque du Solei and others. The success of these spots has been widely recognized through social media engagement. The commercial for BMW has explicitly been set as the standard for 3D Forced Perspective commercials for BMW worldwide.
For the illusions to work optimally, we create 3D content designed to be viewed by an audience at a specific ground-level position. Through precise measurement and calculation, we can recreate the scene and surface inside our 3D software, creating what appears to be a virtual volume located at the LED screen level. Then, imagining the LED as a transparent facade, we can make content that seems situated in a volumetric area inside the building itself.
