The concept involved aerial drone shots both outside the proposed new site and inside the current campus, along with motion tracking and compositing of graphic overlays and 3D animated elements.
With extremely tight timelines and an event fast approaching, Go2 stepped in to help pull it all together, on time and on budget.
This was a very challenging concept to pull off in only a few weeks, with a lot of moving parts. It was essential that we had a solid plan and executed it precisely.
Creating this video was a lot of fun. At the same time as creating awareness for what The BIG Idea was all about, we thought it was important to include Emily Carr’s greatest asset, the students themselves. Once we built the main bulk of the spot with the drone shots and composited graphics, we went back to Emily Carr and spent the day with the students to capture their emotion and passion for Emily Carr University. We think this final addition really pulled everything together nicely and helped show why The BIG Idea is such a great campaign.
But don’t take our word for it… hear it from a recent client, Emily Carr themselves.
We interviewed Karin Watson and Roxanne Toronto of Emily Carr’s communications departments on their experiences working with Go2 Productions. We recently produced 2 videos – The Big Idea campaign launch video and a Reliance Properties video.
