virtualstudio
Creating a 3D virtual studio composite involves filming a subject in front of an evenly lit, bright green (or blue) background. Our 240 sq ft green screen is made from a fabric called Lastolite, a finely knitted material that does not crease and is far superior to paper or paint, it is also reversible in case we need blue. The captured footage is then taken into our compositing software where we replace the green with another image, CGI or video footage known as the background plate.
The background plate in this case would be a branded 3D virtual studio usually produced for use in a corporate video, promotional video or a TV show. Using green screen along with designing and building a 3D virtual studio allowed us to have a nine month old baby boy called Joey appear to host an educational talk show about... babies ! When done right, the illusion is very effective.
We have also produced 3D virtual sets for TV shows such as Business Television (BTV) and Real Estate TV.
One of the most common uses for a branded virtual studio is for coporate videos, namely a CEO quarterly, internal promotions or training videos.
Whatever your use, we'll make your 3D virtual set and presentation look a million dollars.
